1969 - 2009

Clubman 40 aims to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the development of the Austin / British Leyland Mini Clubman alongside the events to recognise 50 years of all Classic Minis.
The Clubman-fronted Mini was introduced to the Austin range in 1969 in the form of a Clubman Saloon, Clubman (or HL) Estate and 1275GT.
Why Clubman 40?
Mini 50 will be huge - and rightly so! But those of us who love Clubmans would also like to celebrate the fact that they have been around nearly as long as other Minis!
What's going to happen?
We aim to gather 40 Clubmans together in one place, with at least one model from each year of production from 1969 - 1982. It will take place at an event during 2009, while Mini 50 is being celebrated.
Where is it going to happen?
Clubman 40 will take place at the Mini50 event at IMM2009 in Longbridge, Birmingham on 7 to 10 August, 2009.
How can I get involved?
1. You need to own a Clubman... Saloon, Estate or 1275GT!
2. Book your ticket for IMM2009 / Mini50. You can do this as a member of a Mini Club (this could be the Clubman Estate Register if your Clubman is a CE) or as an individual. Clubman 40 will NOT BE ABLE TO BOOK A PLACE FOR YOU.
See http://www.imm2009.com/imm/ for further information about buying tickets.
3. Then either email clubman40@clubmanestates.co.uk or post in the Clubman 40 Forum to confirm you are getting involved. You can do this first to let us know that you are interested if you wish, but you will not officially be booked in until you have bought your IMM2009 / Mini50 ticket.
Either way, please make sure we have your contact details so we can keep you filled in on developments. There is already an on-going list of participants in the forum - copy and paste the list and add yourself on!
What if my Clubman isn't standard?
Doesn't matter! Modified Clubmans of all ages are welcomed - a range of standard and modified cars will show off their versatility.
What if I have put a Clubman front on another Mini?
You are very welcome to join in! Clubman fronts allow you to squeeze a bit more engine in don't they? So we want to show off that fact.... There will be a section of the display for cars in this category.
Clubman 40 t-shirts and stickers
Those who are involved in Clubman 40 will be invited to purchase t-shirts that will be made to mark the occasion. There will also be stickers to put on the cars on display. To receive information about these, you will need to have added your name to the list and provided your email address so we can contact you.
Who's organising Clubman 40?
Members of the Clubman Estate Register are organising Clubman 40. This doesn't mean you can only join in if you have a Clubman Estate - ALL Clubmans are involved in this celebration!
